Wednesday, May 12, 2010 - D.E. Sqat, M.E. Deadlift, Bench

I had a really good night tonight. I picked up Gary at the Borough and then we went to the PBOC gym with a focus Gary's 1 RM for deadlift so he could start working with percentages in workouts.

Below are videos of our 1 RM pulls. Gary keeps way better form than I do and just yanks 315 like it was nothing. I finally got 405. It was a struggle and is far, far away from perfect form. I raised my hips way early and rounded, but I got the weight locked out so I am very excited.

Overall it was a REALLY good workout.

Below is a picture after my deadlift. I broke a bunch of the small blood vessels under my eyes. Well, at least there was a sign I was genuinely trying hard.
